Global Dermatology Leader Galderma Opens Office in Dubai

Global dermatology leader Galderma S. A. has announced the opening of its branch office in Dubai Healthcare City. 

As the Regional Headquarters for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, Galderma’s Dubai office, spearheaded by Hesham AbdAllah, Regional Director ‘will serve as a hub for the Middle East region to establish closer ties with our customers as well as a gateway to unleash the opportunities in Africa. With one existing affiliate in South Africa and plans to have formal presences in the North Africa and Central Africa regions in the short term, the vision is to broaden our reach and touch new heights in skin, nails and hair technology.

Renowned as a provider of a holistic approach to skin health and a widespread range of medical solutions, Galderma intends to undertake skin health enhancing practices in association with dermatologists and healthcare professionals in the region. Continuously dedicated in offering more options to healthcare professionals and patients, Galderma provides inventive solutions to meet the highest standards of safety and efficacy.

Speaking about their entry in the UAE; Stuart Raetzman, Chief Executive Officer, Galderma S.A, said; ‘Ever since our inception we have been determined to arm the dermatology community with excellent products and trainings that can in turn help in treating patients with dermatological needs. With an in depth understanding of skin issues pertinent to geographic, demographic and hereditary conditions; we aim to strengthen our portfolio and services to serve our patients and physicians even better in the Middle East and Africa region. We also look forward to rapidly advancing and extending our services to mark our footprint in the Middle East and Africa.’

Regional Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa, Can Ongen added ‘We see our Management Center in Dubai as a door opener for not only the Middle East but also Africa. We will soon be opening more offices in the region which are planned steps towards Galderma’s vision of holistic healthcare and our long-term strategy, to enhance quality of life by delivering science-based solutions for the health of skin, hair and nails over the course of people’s lives.

Focused on maintaining, enhancing and nourishing skin and treating and restoring skin to its healthy state, Galderma has an ambition to contribute responsibly towards the Middle East and African dermatology community along with developing medical education. With Galderma making its debut in Dubai, healthcare professionals can now expect innovative medical solutions that will tend to the dermatological needs of their patients.

Leading with over 50 years of expertise in the industry, Galderma has channelized its efforts in a single direction with a particular focus on acne, rosacea, psoriasis and other steroid-responsive dermatoses, onychomycosis (fungal nail infections), pigmentary disorders, skin cancer and medical aesthetic and corrective solutions for skin senescence.
