Our approach to tackling obesity focuses on prevention through educating the children and parents on ways to understand and promote healthy choices through a point system created by our dietitian. “Since the internet is flooded with information regarding tips for new parents, parents are now more informed but also more confused, we make sure that we advise them accurately and effectively and back up our diagnosis with evidence.” Looking ahead, Dr. Medhat points out how the UAE is a widely developing market.
