MEA Sept 2017 cover- ALUPCO
8 MEA MARKETS / September 2017 , Aluman Group is an established business group in Spain, which is present across Europe, America and North Africa. Recently, we spoke with CEO, MrManuel Angel Pose Palleiro to tell us more about the well-established business group. ALUMAN to Expand into MENA Region with ALUPCO Aluman was born 44 years ago as a small fabrication workshop, and today they are a global solutions provider in the world of enclosure. The company’s architectural systems have evolved over the years and have become what is now the most important part of the business, as Manuel explains. Alupco was established over 42 years ago, in the first industrial city in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. What seemed like a small venture has now become a manufacturing powerhouse. Alupco has always positioned itself as the aluminium extrusion company with the highest quality, and that hasn’t changed throughout it’s expansion. Alupco has broadened its’ outreach by making strategic relationships with high quality brands such as Aluman. “Today, Aluman’s architectural systems are well-known and we have been working with the best architecture studios in the world: Foster and Partners, Rafael de la Hoz, Jacks Nouvelle even Calatrava. As a company, we have participated in several projects around the world, such as numerous airports in Spain, Tocumen International Airport in Panama, Torre Bacata in Colombia, Torre Irsa in Argentina, La Gare de Mons in Brussels, the Four Seasons Hotel in Casablanca. All of this has helped us and now we are able to achieve different requirements and benefits in our systems, that are working through the world today and with very different requirements.” When undertaking a new project, Manuel maps out the steps Aluman takes to ensure the clients receive the best possible outcome as well as highlighting the business group’s overall mission. “The first thing we do, is a study about the project singularities, the environment, the climate, which is key to the project’s final result. Aluman’s systems have several solutions that can be adapted to the different requirements of the project, and a good previous study is going to help reducing costs and time for that project. “Of course, studying the planning needs of the construction is one of the key elements from that first study, because one project not delivered on time would be a failed project. “Aluman’s main mission consists on achieving the customer’s satisfaction, delivering quality products and meeting our deadlines. The first thing we do is try to understand what the client is looking for. Something even more important, is getting feedback at the end of the process as well as during the first years of the building. Being right next to our customers is exactly how we have learnt everything and thanks to that we have improved our systems.” As for what differentiates Aluman from its competitors, marking it stand out as the best possible option for clients, Manuel believes that it is down to the firm’s high level of expertise. 1705ME10
