We are advocating thorough the Uganda solar energy association to have all these taxes scrapped because the solutions we offer are saving the planet, easing on the energy demand as an alternative energy source and even benefiting the poor who cannot afford other energy sources. “Another key challenge we are facing is that there is the unregulated import of substandard solar items and even trade especially by foreign businessmen who go to the extent of retailing to even the remotest area of the country.
