Finding the right teams to execute The Good Earth Group’s vision has been central to its success, and as such the group invests heavily in its recruitment process, and thereafter in its training and development so that it’s teams have the skills to deliver the mission. Additionally, Good Earth also invest heavily in giving its teams the very best tools to the best possible job. From back-of- house equipment to technology and even creating the right working environment, these are all elements that help build the group’s commitment to excellence. As part of this approach, technology plays a vital role particularly when working across multiple outlets and brands. Technology helps from point of sales systems to effectively manage guest checks, team productivity, menu offerings and service efficiency. The group also integrates technology into its database of repeat clients so that they can create personalised offerings. When it comes to the back-of-house operation, the group integrates technology into its procurement and at its centralized kitchen to ACE18022 ensure there is minimal wastage on outgoing stock. Looking ahead, as African markets continue to grow in middle-class status and as a result their dining preferences, there will be many opportunities for us to take our concepts across borders particularly for Nyama Mama, which is a brand that resonates across the continent. To capitalise on their current success and unlock the brand’s full potential, the Good Earth Group are soon to launch a second outlet for the Nyama Mama brand, this compliments their existing signature outlet as well as their several Xpress branches across Nairobi city. The group also has additional concept openings on the horizon, including a signature Cocktail Bar and Lounge dedicated to craft cocktails, as well as an authentically modern Chinese Restaurant and Tea Room.
