However, as Eloise herself transitions from budding photographer to seasoned mentor for young and upcoming artists, we took the time to ask about her journey in getting to this point, and how she has grown her business into what Artysta is today. “I launched “Eloise R Photography” in 2011 in Malta and sold commissioned art pieces. In 2014, I relocated to Mauritius and my business grew internationally. I now have art pieces commissioned in Mauritius, Australia, South Africa, Netherlands, Malta and Italy. Through this growth, Artysta Ltd was born. Artysta provides important solutions for artists, buyers and hotels. For artists, it showcases their artworks on our bespoke modular wall galleries in 4- and 5-star hotels, and it provides an online authentication system that enables the artist to register their artworks and track the sales of these pieces. This process protects both the artist and the buyer as buyers know that by purchasing on our platform, they are purchasing authentic art pieces. For art buyers, it provides an online wallet that stores the authentication and valuation certificates of their art purchases via our system, and it gives the art buyer access to local art on the wall gallery in the hotel, and international art on the online platform. Hotels can provide their guests with a unique travel experience – their own local art gallery in their hotel. Artysta also aims to include the corporate social responsibility programs that the hotel may be involved in, if it falls within the values and ethos of our company, to further encourage hotels in supporting local artists as well as the local community. Another aspect of our business is the synergies we create with other luxury brands. Corporate brands can purchase specially designed panels in our art galleries and display their products alongside original luxury art pieces.” Behind the art is brilliant innovation in order to ensure that every artist and art buyer alike is getting the best deal possible when it comes to putting art into hotels across the region. Eloise took the time to fill us in on exactly how Artysta’s online technology works in terms of making sure that hotels, art buyers, and the artists themselves are all properly supported in this investment. “Our business is an integration of three key elements: our artists, our mobile wall galleries and our technology. We have developed a sophisticated online authentication system that gives each art piece a unique registration number. This enables us, as well as the artists and buyers, to track the sales and valuations of the art pieces. Algorithms determine the values of the art pieces. We are always looking to evolve our offerings and protect our artists and buyers.
