The second, is because the current year, in spite of having been one of the most challeng- ing, has been yet one of the most eventful years in Unitech Movers history. The challenges had come from many sides, but the success I credit in large part is to the hard work that the entire team has contributed with the support of our Managing Director, Ms. Arundathi Shetty as well as to the consid- erable and primarily constructive inputs we have received from our Chairman, Mr.Vinod Sharma. I remember seeing a picture of a sharply meandering road with a caption at the bottom, which read, “a bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you fail to make the turn.” At Unitech Movers, we have begun to make the turn. Much remains to be done, but we have started turning. Over the years, we have become far more introspective and self-critical in examining each of our actions and started directing the same as per customer and the stake holders’ requirements. High level of technology use, own fleet expansion, team leader concept for grooming talent, ag- gressive targets & balance score card for performance are few of the indicators of the same. The future seems brighter as we now anticipate the EXPO 2020 in the UAE and are positioning ourselves for change.
