Following their success in the UAE Business Awards, we profiled the firmand spoke to JimDavies who kindly provided us with a glimpse into the outstanding care Positive Paws provides to our canine friends. At the firm, there are multiple staff who are permanently on hand between our small, medium and large breed areas, and dogs have the chance for some scheduled sleep in comfortable beds throughout the day. On top of the day-care, Positive Paws also have the UAE’s only bespoke indoor canine hydrotherapy pool to aid dogs in physical rehabilitation and fitness swims. In addition to this, the team at Positive Paws also provide grooming services to ensure that every pooch is pampered and perfect. when discussing Positive Paws’ overall business outlook, Jim begins by going into further detail about being based in the UAE and the opportunities, as well as the challenges that they face being located there. “Whilst the UAE is a dog-friendly society, our weather over summer (and even winter!) can be less kind to dogs who need exercise and play. By providing a safe, air-conditioned environment all year round, Positive Paws is getting dogs the exercise and interaction they need whilst not risking their health (or that of their owners!). As Dubai is a city packed full of professionals working long hours, the day- care service offered is also an essential component of many people’s lives. They care for their dogs as they would their children and we are proud to offer them a best in class service for their beloved pet.” As for the technology that the team employs, Jim is keen to highlight how Positive Paws use social media to provide the best quality service to their clients. “Here at Positive Paws, we use both Instagram and Facebook to showcase all of our customers’ pets at play. This daily photoshoot is fun for our staff and all the dogs involved. We are overwhelmed with comments and likes from our customers who need to see their pet enjoying themselves. In addition to this, we have embraced this expectation for a ‘digital check in’ and it’s something we can proudly say is adding value to our customers.” Moving forward, the team at Positive Paws will continue to develop on the accomplishments they have had over the years, which includes winning in MEA Markets’ UAE Business Awards as the Best Dog Daycare Facility – Dubai.
