The first thing that Stu Williamson Photography does with a new client is to undertake a pre-shoot consultation. This will go through the brief for the shoot required and also get an idea of the client’s personality and what they are looking for from their shoot. For their family shoots, they do as much research as they can on the family. They look to get as much information as possible, including their interests, the ages of the children and have they seen anything that has been shot before that they like the look of. When they do business portraits, they find out about the company and what sort of image their client wants to portray.
