A standout example of Power Knot’s impact in the region is its partnership with Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) — one of the world’s largest in-flight catering operations, serving 225,000 meals daily across 120 international airlines at Dubai International Airport. In January 2026, EKFC commissioned a high-capacity Power Knot Automated Feed System, integrating an SBT-140 bin tipper, BCG-315 grinder, FSC-500 screw conveyor, and a high-volume LFC biodigester. This end-to-end solution now processes over 3.5 tonne of food waste daily, diverting it entirely from landfill and converting it into grey water on-site. At full capacity, the system is projected to avoid more than 2,000 tonne of CO2e annually, directly supporting Dubai’s Zero Waste to Landfill agenda.
