Leading global brand experience agency, The fresh Group, has been awarded the prestigious contract to deliver the Milken Institute’s Middle East and Africa (MEA) Summit, to be held 5-6 December 2024 at the St Regis Abu Dhabi Saadiyat island. This exciting win follows a competitive pitch process earlier this summer and marks a significant milestone in fresh’s continued global expansion.

The Milken Institute, a renowned nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank, focuses on accelerating measurable progress on financial, physical, mental, and environmental health. The Milken Institute 2024 MEA Summit serves as a vital platform for bringing together influential leaders to discuss, confront, and create solutions to the region’s most pressing issues.

Katie Clark, Director of Client Relationships at fresh, expressed her excitement about the win. “This was an incredibly exciting pitch win for us this year and we couldn’t be more delighted to commence our partnership with the Milken Institute to deliver this incredibly high profile, global event.”

“I am so proud of the whole team behind this pitch. It has been a real testament to the fresh joined-up thinking that we pride ourselves on, seeing our production creative, content, film and project teams coming together to deliver a strong proposal to the Milken Institute to get this over the line,” concluded Clark.

“Our supporters, speakers and attendees know we set a high bar for our events, and our agency partners must be able to deliver on those expectations,” said Stephanie Ahoni, director of events, Milken Institute. “We are excited to welcome fresh, and look forward to working with them to bring our MEA Summit to life.”

With over 900 delegates expected to attend, fresh is now in the preproduction phase, gearing up for the delivery of this two-day event that will draw attendees from across the globe.

Laura Lee, Director of Client Delivery at fresh, added, “The fresh team has such a vast wealth of global delivery experience which we are excited to apply to the MEA Summit to take this already amazing event from strength to strength. I’m looking forward to getting onsite with the team and continuing to develop our work with the entire Milken Institute team.”

This contract underscores fresh’s growing reputation for delivering large-scale, impactful events on the global stage.
