<p>Diapoint is the place for people touched by Diabetes.<br /> It was created by Pamela Durant, the mother of a child with Type 1 Diabetes. Prior to her<br /> son’s diagnosis when he was 20-months old. She had over 20 years of experience in hospital<br /> and clinic management, with a focus on strategy and quality. Despite all her healthcare<br /> experience, she had no real understanding of the challenges, gaps and stigma that her son<br /> and others with diabetes face daily.<br /> Diapoint’s Mission is, To share knowledge and connect people to improve the quality of life<br /> of people with diabetes and those who love them. The Diapoint philosophy is a focus on<br /> community, and learning to embrace diabetes, primarily through wellness, to live life to the<br /> fullest despite the condition.<br /> Diapoint does this by providing education, services, a support network, advocacy and<br /> products that support people with diabetes</p>
