La Françoise is a Senegalese brand for women. It empowers African women to embrace their femininity, curves and roots, while allowing women from elsewhere to experience African art without falling into stereotypical or folkloric representations of African fashion. We often say that our clothes “make noise by whispering”. Founded entirely through self-funding, La Françoise has dressed more than 500 women worldwide, doubled its average order value and employed dozens young Senegalese.
