Literacy Promotion Organisation of the Year 2026 - South Africa
Read to Rise is a non-profit organisation that aims to create a nation of inspired readers. We work in under-resourced communities in South Africa and offer class programmes, mini-libraries, puppet shows and book festivals. We also believe that book ownership can ignite a love for reading - to date we have given out over 400,000 new story books to children around South Africa.
